High-Performance Multifunctional Smart Textiles for the Construction Industry
Within the scope of the project, new generation textile-based solutions for strengthening, monitoring, and improving the technical performance of structures were researched and tested.

MULTITEXCO is an international research project conducted under the European Union's 7th Framework Programme, aiming to promote safer, more efficient, and more widespread use of technical textiles in the construction industry.
Standardization
Developing technical standards and application principles for the safe and widespread use of new technologies in the construction industry.
Strengthening
Development of high-strength technical textile solutions to improve the performance of structures.
Structural Monitoring
Research into innovative textile systems that enable monitoring of the behavior and performance of structures.

Connecting research with real structures.
Arimeks, one of the project's partners in Türkiye, contributed to the application and monitoring processes of the developed textile systems under real building conditions.
In the final stage of the project, pilot applications were carried out to evaluate the performance of the developed systems, and the behavior of the results under field conditions was examined.
International cooperation
MULTITEXCO was carried out with the contributions of industry organizations, research centers and technology companies from Türkiye, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic and other European countries.
